Hawaii Pacific University

Hawai'i Pacific University (HPU), an established institution with leading programs in business administration, information systems, and management, offers a comprehensive Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree program. This program will help you get ahead in today's global marketplace through a strong, in-depth curriculum that balances core courses with electives, providing a solid business education while allowing you to specialize. This is a rigorous program that will immerse you in leading-edge technology and modern business and management principles, designed to give you the knowledge and experience to lead, innovate, and succeed.

The M.B.A. program at Hawai'i Pacific University requires 42 credit hours of graduate work. Prerequisite courses in business subjects may be required. The curriculum is organized into eight core courses (24 credit hours), two seminar courses (6 credit hours), three elective courses (9 credit hours), and two capstone courses (6 credit hours). Students may concentrate in any one of several business areas, including human resource management, information systems, international business, management, and organizational change and development.

Today's leaders find they must continually realign their organizations to evolving strategic visions, missions, and goals critical to short-term performance. Simultaneously, they are faced with the complex task of adapting their organizations to rapidly changing competition for markets and resources, diverse workforce needs, government regulations, new technology, and a deteriorating environment. Organizational change involves a multidisciplinary perspective and uses concepts and methods from such fields as organizational development, management, sociology, anthropology, communication, information systems, psychology, and comparative economics.

Hawaii Pacific University's Master of Arts in Organizational Change (MA/OC) emphasizes the management, design, implementation, and application of such change methods as continuous improvement and performance management. Students learn how to design innovations for organizational culture change, as well as how to implement an actual program of change in an organization. The MA/OC Program at HPU may be completed from any location in the world.
